Why Projects?
- ..brings an ingenuity-based project planning method to bear.
- ..uses real options to value groups of information (as well as I.T. assets), arriving at a direct measure of project risk.
- ..has created a simplified approach to understanding problems within a project.
Stop&Think Tool
The Stop&Think Tool is designed to help you understand why something has or will come about. It could be a problem, project, issue, situation, or something else. The goal is to arrive at an insight that suggests an ingenious solution.
Ingenuity can be defined as “creative simplification”. The arrangement of a problem’s causes as a factual flow makes it much easier for our natural categorizing mind to refine an insight through fusion (discarding and combining).
The method focuses on the future certainty of a cause, thereby enabling forward thinking.
Multiple tools can be layered to map a cause-and-effect hierarchy.
The tool can also be used to simplify, as well as determine the value of information.
